Hello
As newer models comes out, still more phones don't support Talks. Some of
them have series 60 but not all of them and I would like to get some with
MP3 ringtones and stuff like that but they get expensive, plus getting Talks
on top of that as well. I know most of them recommend Nokia. Also If you go
to the store now days, they says that they haven't got most of them listed
that support talks because they don't do them anymore.
Talking of Nokia 6600, I have got that as well and recently I have tried to
download a ringtone and I am using pay as you go with O2 and they seemed to
break up on 6600 phones. If you speak to someone about it they then say,
6600 have a download limit for other streams like media, so it goes back to
the subject that it is a good idea to update the phone anyway. I got mine
from a market place, because it is way expensive in a store like O2,
Vodafone and major retailers, can they and Talks try to put prices down now?
Mark

Hi Karina:
Speaking from a personal perspective, I regret getting rid of my 6600.
My contract came to an end, when my supplier decided to give me a newer
model which I don't like.
If it is working at present, why not stick with it?
As far as looking at new models is concerned, just go into one of the high
street shops armed with a list of possible phones, and take a grope of
what
they currently stock.
I usually find the O2 staff very helpful here in Guildford.
David

Hi,
I’m in the process of looking for a mobile phone that can support talks.
I’ve looked at the website and I’m a bit surprised that not all Nokias can
support Talks, as I would have thought that the operating system would
have
been the same.
I have had a look at several, but am finding that the buttons are very
tiny
and it is incredibly difficult, if not impossible in some situations, to
tell the difference between where the buttons start and finish. Has anyone
got any recommendations on phones with decent buttons and any ideas about
where I might be able to have a look at them before I make a decision. I’ve
got a Nokia 6600 with Talks on it and get on with that one fine but
realise
that phones go out of date so quickly.
Many thanks.
Karina
