[bcab] Re: Microsoft Access

Hi Alan,

That's exactly right upto XP at any rate - guess it is the same for vista
users. So if Carina has the office CD then pop into add/remove programs,
modify the installation of office and pop in the cd. However, I know plenty of
people who just download it from microsoft directly though this should pose no
great problem - I imagine.

  Roger and Karina
Isn't there an option in the add/remove programs in control panel to repair
or install other components in the office suite? It seems to ring a bell with
me from yonks ago.

  cheers

    Hi Carina,

Surprising you don't have Access. Wherever you got your office application
should be able to give you access too - they come on the same CD in every
version of microsoft office I have come accross - that means pretty much every
version except for 2007. Failing that, I'm reasonably sure that open office
provides a database program that integrates with the other microsoft software.

      Hi there,

Does anyone know where I can purchase Microsoft Access as a single
application form? I have all of the other applications that I need on my PC,
but not Access. Any ideas much appreciated, and I hope that everyone has had a
nice Christmas.

      Many thanks.

      Karina
