Hi,
Access used to only be available in the small business and professional
editions of Office. When I got my new machine, I got an OEM copy of Office
2007 small business, but this did not come with Access, the only way of getting
it was to upgrade to the Professional edition of Office 2007, which I managed
to do using the software assurance pack I have access to.
I think Carina works for a local council, it may be worth asking them if they
do any staff purchase options as Microsoft do offer this as part of the
software benefit that most of them sign up to.
It used to be possible to buy these programs as single packages, not sure
whether that is possible now; I couldn't see any reference to this under my
agreement.
Thanks.
Andrew.

Isn't there an option in the add/remove programs in control panel to repair or
install other components in the office suite? It seems to ring a bell with me
from yonks ago.
cheers

Hi Carina,
Surprising you don't have Access. Wherever you got your office application
should be able to give you access too - they come on the same CD in every
version of microsoft office I have come accross - that means pretty much every
version except for 2007. Failing that, I'm reasonably sure that open office
provides a database program that integrates with the other microsoft software.

Hi there,
Does anyone know where I can purchase Microsoft Access as a single application
form? I have all of the other applications that I need on my PC, but not
Access. Any ideas much appreciated, and I hope that everyone has had a nice
Christmas.
Many thanks.
Karina
