Isn't there an option in the add/remove programs in control panel to repair or 
install other components in the office suite?  It seems to ring a bell with me 
from yonks ago.

  Surprising you don't have Access.  Wherever you got your office application 
should be able to give you access too - they come on the same CD in every 
version of microsoft office I have come accross - that means pretty much every 
version except for 2007.  Failing that, I'm reasonably sure that open office 
provides a database program that integrates with the other microsoft software.

    Does anyone know where I can purchase Microsoft Access as a single 
application form?  I have all of the other applications that I need on my PC, 
but not Access.  Any ideas much appreciated, and I hope that everyone has had a
