[bcab] Re: Lost click sound when accessing a link in Internet Explorer

hi Kevin this should restore the sound for you, which is a Windows XP system
sound.

1. choose start>settings>control panel>sounds & audio devices.

2. press shift tab then right arrow to get to the "sounds" tab.

3. press "alt P" for "program events", then the letter S repeatedly, until you
come to "start
navigation".

4. Tab once to the combo box, and select "Windows XP Start.wav"

5. Tab 3 times to get to the OK button & press space bar.

Subject: [bcab] Lost click sound when accessing a link in Internet Explorer

Hi

I guess the subject line says it all. I think I know what has caused this
and it's no big deal in the great scheme of things, but I actually like
the click sound when I access a link in IE.

I've searched on google and found details of a registry entry I can modify
to bring the sound back. However, that entry doesn't appear to be in my
registry. Is there an easy way to bring back the click sound?

I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP2.

Many thanks.

Cheers

Kevin
