[bcab] Logging progs

Does anybody know how to set up the system to log what progs are starting
and stopping and when. My daughter is doing something which is completely
stopping sound so I can't get access to the machine. She doesn't know what
it is and thinks I'm accusing her. If I can find out, I can tell her what it
is.
