Hi all,
I don't usually make a habit of cross posting to loads of lists, but I think 
this is a special occasion for a special person to whom some of us owe a great 
debt of gratitude.
tomorrow is Les Barker's birthday, so now would be a great time to send in a 
request for one of his tracks from the Guide Cats for the Blind albums, maybe 
the title track, on your favourite BBC Local Radio station and on Sarah 
Kennedy's radio 2 show.  This seems a particularly good idea as he's not been 
well of late, having had a minor heart attack earlier in the month, from which, 
thankfully, he now seems to be recovering weel.
