Yes, the BrailleNote runs KeySoft, presently at version 7.2. The
actual operating system is Windows CE 4.2.
While KeySoft is pretty good, it is a closed system not
permitting you to add any applications not written specifically
for it.
The Sandero Group has a GPS application they wrote for the
BrailleNote, but this is about the only third-party application I
know of for it.
