Subject: [bcab] Laptop and volume level
Hi list. Can anyone offer any advice on laptops and the volume level they
have? I've just got an Advent 7201 with Vista Premium on it. I've upped the
audio levels and JFW is working well. However, when playing a DVD, the volume
is very low...even with the windows media player at full volume. Is this usual
for laptops?, as I've never had any experience with laptops. I've only ever
had a desk top PC and I've probably been spoilt with the volume, so I'm just
trying to find out if laptops are usually quite a bit lower. BTW, if this is
the case, do people use external/plugin speakers for watching DVD's? cheers
Steve.
