[bcab] JFW Problem

    Hi folks.  Wonder if any of you can cast some light on the problem
I'm having.
 
I'm running JFW 8 and up until today have had no problems with it.
However, it now seems that when I'm <mailto:I@m>  pressing any function
keys such as Insert, Alt, Control or any combination of these to find
out such things as the time on the pc, title of the conversation window
etc, JAWS is just cutting out.  It's almost like keyboard interupt is on
but to a higher degree than normal.  So, for example, if I press ins+f12
to hear the time you just hear the initial I for insert and nothing
else.  NO time is reported.  i have tried removing the typing interupt
and this seems to make a difference but then obviously it's not keeping
up with you when you're typing.  Has anyone come across this problem
before and do you know how to fix it?
