[bcab] Re: JAWS and Egg Banking

Hi Mel,

Well, I have tried your Egg site with JAWS 7.10 and the result is still
the same. I then tried to get JAWS to ignore the clickable graphics with
control-insert-tab, but it didn't work: entering nothing in the prompt
field just went back to the original prompt; putting in quote-quote
spoke out quote quote.

I think they must have changed their page.

Best regards,

Norman O.

Subject: [bcab] JAWS and Egg Banking

Hi all,

I've noticed a problem with JAWS 8 or 9 with the egg banking logon page.
I'm using Internet Exploere 6.

The link to the page is
https://new.egg.com/security/customer/logon?URI=https://new.egg.com/cust
omer/youraccounts

When looking at this page with JAWS 7 I can easily identify the form
fields
for the login process. When tabbing through the fields in forms mode
the
names of the fields are clearly read out.

However, in JAWS 8 and 9, there are a lot of clickable graphics which
say
images/spacer. When tabbing through the fields in forms mode, it just
says
images/spacer edit for each field.

I've tried turning off all graphics but this hasn't changed anything.

Can anyone give me any ideas as to what is happening and how I can get
my
uncluttered form back with JAWS 9?

Thanks

Mel
