[bcab] Internet woes

Morning all,
I am currently running IE7.+ on XP Pro service pack 3 and have for the past few
days, been experiencing extremely slow internet speeds. Most times I fail to
log into the internet as the system comes up with a "time out" error. When I do
get to open the IE browser, it can take a couple of minutes or more, to get
into a site and so on. My antivirus systems are all up to date using the latest
AVG and I also run 2 Anti-spy packages called Spy bit and Super anti spyware
all of which are up to date. My ISP Sky say there is nothing wrong at their end
and cannot give any further help, so the issue must be on my PC yet nothing has
changed with the PC. What can I do to resolve the speed issue?
