Hi, Sue
The primary benefit is that ALT+D, as well as taking you directly to the
address bar, highlights your current page's URL and, therefore, makes it
easy to cut and paste it to elsewhere, if desired.

Can anyone tell me what the difference between using Alt plus D to get to
the address bar, and control O and typing in a web address that way is?
Thanks.
I've not tried F 6 yet but I'll give that a go too. Just wondering what
the difference is.
Sue.

Subject: [bcab] IE7 Question
Hi All,
Hope this is an easy one! When using IE6 it is possible to press control
and tab which puts you into the address bar. I've found this very useful
and noticed that its not possible to do this in IE7. I've noticed that
the address appears above the menu bar, rather than below it as it does
in
IE6.
Is it possible to get into the address bar with a keystroke in IE7?
Many thanks
Mel
