Hi Martin and all, I passed your query on to Roger Wilson-Hinds of Choice Technology, who produce Thunder, and he asked me to post this reply to the question of how to stop Thunder launching automatically: Message begins: There is a non-taechy way to stop Thunder, or indeed other applications, from auto-starting. 1 Locate Thunder via All Programs, Sensory and Thunder. 2 press the Application or Right Mouse key and Cursor Down to Delete and ENTER. You are only deleting entry in the Startup, not the application itself, of course. 3 If you want Thunder to appear in the Start Menu, again follow the same procedure, and before you delete Thunder from Startup, Cursor Down to Append to Start Menu and ever after you will have a T (Thunder) shortcut hotkey option in your Start Menu to get you out of trouble at the times when JAWS has crashed. Hope this helps. Message ends Cheers, Jane *** BCAB List administration *** If you wish to unsubscribe, set vacation,, request a digest or carry out routine maintenance on your subscription to the list then go to: http://www.bcab.org.uk/mailing-list.html If you wish to discuss the administration of the list then contact: secretary@xxxxxxxxxxx
