All.
When you install thunder it puts itself in the startup group for the user
who you were logged on as when the application was installed.
So to stop it from launching:
Go to the Documents and Settings\start menu\programs\startup
Folder for that user and simply delete the
Thunder entry from there and it'll all be sorted.

Best!

I believe that you should be able to stop most applications from starting up
with Windows by using the System Configuration utility.
You start it by typing msconfig in the RUN dialog from the start menu.
At least that´s what I use to control what runs when Windows starts up.
Note, this utility is not available in Windows 2000 but is present in
Windows 98 and XP.

Hello Allen

Thunder is a free screanreader from www.scrreanreader.net. I don't haven't
got all the facts on me at the moment but I downloaded it and is adaquate
for when Jaws decides to stop working.

Hope that this has given you a little more insite.

Subject: [bcab] How can I stop Thunder launching at start up

Hi listers

I am having a problem trying to stop the thunder screanreader from launching
when I start up my computer. I use Jaws mostly and have already set up a hot
key to launch thunder as and when I need to use it. I can't find an option
anywhere to stop thunder.

Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
