I think I am already using the windows live thing or what ever it is although I was not given an accessible option when I chose to activate my hotmail email account.

from when you set it up. that's the only difference. if it does not work
with Outlook Express, or you have not used it for a while it is probably too 
old and you need to look at Windows Live or whatever it is called.

using Outlook Express but mine is an old account.  This is not an option
with newer accounts.

Leading on from this, and very much connected, is windows Live accessible
with JAWS version 8 or earlier? This is what will replace hotmail and MSN 
I
believe but I think it is still in beta although it may be now officially
released.
