[bcab] Re: Google alerts

Clive,

From the edit box at the top of the page, it's at least 12 tabs to get to News Alerts. Before that, you'll get:-
Browse Top Stories
Recent
Last hour
Last day
Past week
Past month
Archives
All dates
1999-2008
1996-98
1990-95
1980s
1970s
Other dates
Other dates
Other dates: [hide]
Blogs

and finally news alerts. Only one more tab, and you can have RSS (luxury!).

Don't believe it makes much difference to the navigation whether you're in news.google.com or .co.uk.

Vince.

Subject: [bcab] Google alerts

Hi all,

Please can you help? How do I set up a new Google alert?

I've done this before, but now can't find the right links on the google pages. I would like to set up a couple of google alerts with relevances to the Guide Cats for the Blind titles. Please can someone tell me exactly how to tab to the facility? Does it matter whether I log on to www.google.co.uk or www.google.com to search for the facility?

Thanks,
Clive
