[bcab] Re: Genealogy software?

dear Alex
It sounds like the credit crunch is hitting companies like Dolphin as well as people's finaces, i was sorry to learn that you had asked and that Dolphin gave you that reply, sounds like they aren't getting in the money for various products maybe there is more competition than there used to be now that Apple Mac are incorporating a screen reader into their operating system maybe one day Microsoft will do something similar but until it happens i shall remain with hal i am happy with that. I hope yo and Carol are well and if there is any info you want from sV London let me know as I am going along with some members from AVIOS Mark Smith is going I think that Meg and Slyvia mayb also go i am going along too. Jonathan won't be going as he has a teaching job in Staines he is teaching Braille in staines you may seem surprised, but without me helping him out he wouldn't be in that position also the lady that was teaching in staines moved up north.
All for now
from
Jane

Hi Jane and all,

Jane, I did ask Dolphin, but their answer made me want to look at
alternative software which would work with Supernova out of the box, as they
said they could map the program but I would have to find the money to pay
them to do so, and even though my father was willing to help pay for the
mapping, neither Dolphin nor myself are clear on whether I can allow them to
install my copy of the program on their computers and then reinstall it on
my computer once it has been mapped, or whether Dolphin will have to
purchase their own copy of the program for mapping purposes.
