[bcab] Re: Fw: assistive technology - blind and no arms

For the record I did reply off list to Terry to the effect that I felt
that the technology detailed in the case study which I posted was more
to do with the bespoke implementation of dragon as conducted by the
indpendant software company sited than by any effert from Dolphin
themselves and that I am not terribly surprised that the user in the
case study has since moved on as her needs and no doubt skills have
developed. I posted the piece because I felt it offered an alternative
route to an effective use of technology than that discussed on the list
thus far, not because I felt at that time, or now, that one solution
were any better or worse than the other.

Both products work and more importantly both overcome a difficulty for a
particular problem experienced by a very small group of people which is
to be commended, afterall competition is something of which there isn't
all that much in this sector. Lets celebrate choice.

I didn't do that in the least sir I simply pointed out that the lady to
whom the article referred is now not using the solution.
I was in no way intentionally advertising nor knocking the Talking Point
solution simply stating that the information in the article is no longer
current.
