[bcab] Re: Forgotten Dollphin Customer

Hello List,

Dolphin Product Support regularly use remote access solutions to provide
support to end users. Dolphin provide speech, Braille and basic
magnification support using the protocols found in the standard
Microsoft remote Desktop. If anyone needs help setting up the standard
remote Desktop for use with Dolphin software, please contact Dolphin's
Product Support department using the details found at the end of this
email.

Dolphin were part of the group of Assistive Technology manufacturers who
defined, implemented and continue to support the DCM standard for video
chaining. In Windows Vista, Microsoft replaced the DCM standard with
Mirror drivers. Dolphin are continuing to work closely with Microsoft on
future standards enabling AT to seamlessly coexist under Windows.

Dolphin fully support the older SAPI4 and SAPI5 standards. Owing to
limitations with SAPI, in addition SAM provides direct drivers for
Acapela, Eloquence and RealSpeak. These drivers provide greater control
and TTS responsiveness than is available via SAPI.
