[bcab] Re: Footer

As part of the Microsoft Award I am producing a training web site based on
the one used by Project Assist.  It is basically several pages with
graphics, tables, PDF, other links etc. to be used as part of the Internet
course.  The pages will be put on the CD-ROM for the course but the idea is
that the pages should be available from our web site as well. Thus if the
Get to grips with information is on:
www.bcab.org.uk/training/get to gripswith/ (or whatever)
Then I would like the Internet course to be:
 
www.bcab.org.uk/training/get to gripswith/Internet training
 
Once I've got the basics sorted out I'll run them by you to get the style
sorted.  What I wanted was any graphics you might have used for spacers, the
BCAB logo and the one with the hands gripping the keyboard.
 
I am now away for a few days, back on Thursday. I would like to go live with
the bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx a week tomorrow as I it will give me a week before I
go on holiday to iron out any problems.
 
Got David's mail today so I will send off the contract cancellation
tomorrow.

    Sure, it may not be until sometime next week though, I'm in the office
for 2 days, out for the remainder of the week/weekend and trying to get
everything else done around it all. Terribly melodramatic and all, but, it's
easier to keep you posted.
    Could you also remind me what you needed for the Get To Grips pages?
There's already a page which talks about training, and this in turn links
off to a page devoted to the Get To Grips courses. If you wanted to extend
this, there's no need to worry about providing the HTML code, the content
can be copied in straight from a text file.
 
    If this makes life easier, I can either plonk the content straight into
the site myself, or once the site is finally up and running I can give you a
log on and some guidance to get you going so you can add it for yourself.
Just give me a shout.
 
    I'm also going to try and get the form for the mailing list up on the
site, so that when we figure out the footer, it should all be good to go. If
David is on the case of sending final payment to Service Direct, we should
be able to provide some links to a site that is live sometime in the next
couple of weeks.

At the moment only you and I are subscribed to this list. I am trying to get
the footer to work. I have edited the file but nothing seems to appear. I
don't suppose you could look at the list settings to see if I have missed
anything.
