[bcab] Final released version of WBU PowerPoint Guidelines

Dear All BCAB Members worldwide,

 I have pleasure in attaching on behalf of the WBU Low Vision Working group
the final released version of the WBU PowerPoint guidelines which were
recently approved in principle by the WBU Officers in Caracas. 

I attach both PDF and Word versions of the Guidelines and an accompanying
file with three PowerPoint slides to illustrate one slide  created firstly
with the use of the Guidelines and secondly without the use of the
Guidelines for comparison.

On behalf of the  WBU Low Vision WG I will now be trying to give them a wide
circulation  to the Global corporate  and University Sectors for hopefully
maximum early implementation and targeting as many websites as I can
persuade to carry them.

Please consider releasing them in the joint names of your organisations  and
WBU to all your University faculties offering MBA courses and to all
Corporate umbrella groups and other  Executive Membership Institutes etc. as
it is these outlets which have access to many Executives  who daily use
PowerPoint presentations with visually impaired  participants in their
audiences.  If you  are successful in placing them with such groups please
let me know the details as WBU will be keen to track such friends working to
publicise these guidelines.
 
Finally, I suggest that you  send the PDF version plus the accompanying PPT
file  to these outlets as the Word version is really only being circulated
to VI recipients as some of them continue to find PDF files difficult to
access, although virtually all screen readers in their current versions are
nowadays PDF compliant.
