In the absence of the official list moderator, I feel compelled to ask you to consider your habits on this mailing list please.

I have been asked to raise the issue of altering the subject lines of emails. Further to my last suggestion, it's been noted that by changing the subject line of an email you are often moving the original text out of view. Please could you refrain from altering the subject lines of emails from this point on.

I would also appreciate it if you could take care with your comments on established organisations and companies. I am aware of certain difficult situations that you have been involved with, but this list is not the place for discussing them. Could you please refrain from commenting on anyone in a manner which may be considered unwarranted in any way.

Your help is very much appreciated in this matter. We have a thriving and friendly list here which everyone benefits from. Let's keep things on topic and on form.
