Jane,
My work colleagues are taking the test without attending
college. I'm trying to do the same.

Whgat is wrong with distance learning at RNC yo do
the work from home and attend college once a flood, surely this would be
acceptable to your place of work? RnC do it very well i believe.

Guy,
Do you know if the blind person you mention has gone
through ECDL advanced? I did ECDL a while ago at work and now want to do
the Advanced, again at work, without actually attending a college.

A blind person has completed the ecdl, though with a
little help to get round silly things like inserting graphics into a word
document.
What you need to do is to go to the british computer
society's website and then look up a college which teaches it and then
talk to that college about your needs. I'm talking to a college in Derby
though they've gone quiet.
