Hi Isaac.
Thanks for the link but I'm not really a fan of safari as even if you
put a book on your bookshelf you can't actually download it and have to
read it online. I use it as a bit of a last resort. A bit like a
library. Grate for one time reads but not good for reference books.
Cheers.
Nick.

Hello Nick
There is an electronic library of technical books called Safari
http://safari.informit.com/
It is not free, contains a lot of up to date programming books. Perhaps
you
can get help from your employer to register with them.
I don't use the library myself as yet but considered doing so in the
past.
I hope the above helps
Regards
Isaac

Subject: [bcab] Design Patterns.
Hi All.
Sorry for the cross posting.
I'm after a website or electronic book I can bye which goes over design
patterns.
In the last few design reviews I've been through at work it's been
suggested I look in to the singleton pattern or the pool pattern or
threading patterns. I think it would be good for me to be aware of what
patterns are around so I can design my software with the patterns in
from the first place rather than being pointed at them during design
reviews.
So I'm after a good E-book or Website that details a number of useful
patterns and if it goes over how to implement them in C++ even better!
Cheers.
Nick.
