while it is always good to hear about accessible information and help, I did
think the N in RNIB stood for national and that thehelp with debt would
therefore be a national thing. I thought CAB was a national organisation,
so is this intended as a piolet project?

Subject: [bcab] Debt Advice
Folks
Some may find this helpful.
Steve
The RNIB can now give advice to blind and partially sighted people with
debt problems. The RNIB has entered into a partnership with Citizen
Advice Bureau (CAB) to improve the supply of free face-to-face debt
advice for people with sight problems.
The partnership covers ten areas of England. These areas are:
Gateshead, Bradford, Sheffield, Greater Manchester, Greater London,
Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Stoke-on-Trent and Rotherham.
If people live or work in one of these areas RNIB can make an
appointment for you with a CAB money advisor. Money advisors can also
make home visits. If people do not live or work in one of the ten areas
listed above, we may still be able to help people.
If you know someone who would benefit from this service or if you have
any questions please contact the Financial Inclusion Project, email:
debtadvice@xxxxxxxxxxx, telephone: 020 7391 2209.
Thank you
Venitia Stoby
