Hallo Isaac I It was a very good survey and models of Bt which I found poor
in the past seem to be much improved. I prop mine up in front of computer
and follow instructions. I can attach head phones . How no one who attempted
to read the 100 pages of instructions could find a way to redial the last
number
There is also another snag. If I am moving around house and garden I put
it in my pocket so I don't miss calls.
I do have a Mobile but I am not even sure of the number myself and it is
hard to use. anyway this is the snag with the Siemens if it is in your
pocket and you may lean up against something you may accidentally mute the
entire phone.
What happened to me was I took some kitchen waste down the garden and
wanted to put on a very ripe compost heap I fear I fell as there is a slope
and was in a most difficult position. I managed to reach for the phone with
difficulty only to find it had muted. and I had not a chance in hell of
unmuting it.
I had only one instrument left of course and gave some bloodcurdling yells
which eventually attracted help. It is things like this you don't think
of when buying a phone isn't it Dorothy.

Thank you Dorothy
I am looking for a cordless phone myself. The eText version of Which in
TNAUK that I get did not come out yet, hopefully soon.
I am using at the moment the BT Studio 1100 which is not good; a lot of
background noise.
Regards
Isaac

Hallo, the February issue of Which Magazine had a comprehensive survey
on
this subject. I get the 2 tape issue from TNAUk, just posted it back.
they
also did a small article on ISP, in future due to demand they are going
to
do a full survey 2 times a year. Re the phones I have a hands free siemens
but although it is a good phone and will not move to a neighbours base if
I
have it say at the end of the garden about 150 feet, as a BT one did it
is
impossible to do a ringback of the last number it has too much on it for
me.
I think there were 3 they found outstandings. Maybe the Publish on their
website Dorothy.

Looking for a decent set of cordless phones that I can connect to a BT
home
hub rooter. I want a loud ring and decent sound.
