Hello Dave,
do you have an alternate sound card you might install?
So many variables, ellimination is the only way forward I think. Are your
drivers up to date? Does this happen with any recording source?
Just some thoughts, which I guess you've considered anyway.
best,
Joe

Hi all,
I am having trouble recording directly to my PC at the moment.
Playing files is fine, but when recording, tiny bits get skipped, and the
recording is ruined.
I have defragged the drives, cleared as much stuff out of the system tray
as is safely and humanly possible.
I will be grateful for any suggested solutions to this problem.
I should say that the computer is part of a home network with one other
computer on it.
Thanks,
Dave.
