[bcab] Re: Changing the order in which folder items are displayed

Clive,

Get focus into the list view, make sure nothing is selected (if you've
started arrowing through the files, press Control + SpaceBar to
unselect) and press the applications key. In Outlook Express and
Outlook 2003, there is an "arrange icons by" item with a submenu.

Subject: [bcab] Changing the order in which folder items are displayed

Hi all,

When I am browsing the contents of a folder, say, on my local drive via
"My Computer", , I can re-arrange the order in which files are
displayed by pressing alt + V, then selecting "Arrange items by" (e.g.
Name, or Date modified).

Please can someone tell me how I would achieve the same thing when
browsing files in a folder as part of "Insert File" process in Outlook
in WinXP, because I can't find a suitable keyboard shortcut to do it
there.

Thanks,
Clive
