[bcab] Changing subject lines was Re: Brian Lingard.

        Dorothy

Please, please can you stop changing the subject line to the name of the
person you are replying to. Also, the content of many of your notes are
of a private nature. Please reply to the person privately and not to this
list. As David Taylor said in a previous note, many of us receive lots of
emails and changing the subject lines make it very difficult for us.

Many thanks.

Subject
[bcab] Brian Lingard.

Dear Brian I am having a darned awful time. I tried to explain on the
18th
of this month. I am heavens knows doing my best. Whole days have gone
missing this is what is happening no one laptop It has just said to me
the
following laptop I mean"the system has recovered from a serious error Gt

lines Now I recall that during the past couple of weeks it has the laptop

but maybe both it went on about this serious errors and said it was
compiling a report to be sent to Microsoft. I had no idea what it meant.
The message seemed to be telling me it needed to tell Microsoft
something.
That Microsoft wouldn't identify me personally. I had no idea what to do
after all if my system had a serious error and Microsoft needed to know
why
not just do what it needs to do If Microsoft will not identify me how
will
it help me. I fear I turn off the computers and just hope all will be
Ok.
Brian I am not keen on being told my account has become corrupted unless
I
know what this word means. if whole days are missing just coping is hard.

If I do a reply I shall be told off yet it is almost the only sure way I
can
get at an Email and return it to sender. A little understanding in
difficult circumstances would go a long will be way. I best go and see
what
the laptop is doing. A lady on this list says she has been using a
computer
for 17 years! Yet I see she is beset with problems all the time. In life
if
you learn to read you have learned to do it When it comes to computers it

seems as if you are running fast to stand still. By the way did Jaws exist

17 years ago? I wonder if she was using a computer like one my sighted
cousin is keen on in Bletchley Park in the Uk. I am told it is a sight to
behold. dorothy Ps hope you do not have to stay home all day tomorrow.
