[bcab] Re: Can I escape from IE7?

Hi Terry

I posted a method using system restore as recommended by my son who is a
network engineer.

It allows you to roll back to a date before the installation of IE7.

Please let me know what method you use and if uninstalling IE7 works . if it
dows not you can still roll back.

Thanks.

Kind regards

Subject: [bcab] Can I escape from IE7?

Hi all,

Windows Update decided to install IE7 for me, which my current version of
JAWS can't use.

Whilst I intend to upgrade to a version which will cope with this during the

next few weeks, I'm not yet ready.

Is there a means, without a system rebuild, whereby I can get back to IE6?
Does System Restore cope with this.

Not having any readily available informed sighted assistance, I need some
assurance before embarking on something which may prove more trouble than
it's worth.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Terry
