[bcab] Cables for the old Keynote synthesizer?

Hi Folks,
 
Please can anyone tell me what kind of serial lead is required  for the
Keynote SA synthesizer.
 
I know that it is a 9 pin male for the synthesizer end. However, what I need
to know is the serial cable a nul modem cable or not.
