really need to learn the language itself.

What flavour of Cobol are you needing to learn and what machine will it be 
run on?
 
I spent 25 plus years writing Cobol on an ICL mainframe but there are 
differences between versions of Cobol.

I guess the subject line says it all.  I need to teach myself COBOL.  I'm 
looking for any textbooks, tutorials and reference material, either 
online, on tape or in Braille.  Does anybody have any good 
recommendations.
