[bcab] Bt email accounts

Hi All
Does anyone know what is causing the following message I keep getting when
I do the send/receive email.

I keep getting this message:

authorisation required. Your email could not be sent.
 To fix this you must make a simple change to your email known as
smtp authorisation.  For advice visit www.btyahoo.com/smtp 

The strange thing is  I am  set up  correctly,  and obviously if you are
reading this message then my mail is going out ok!
