[bcab] Re: Blindcats CD's

Hi Sue,

As producer of the albums, I'd like to thank you for your compliments.
I am quite happy to pick up any orders for CD's from people who don't have
access to a computer. A note should soon hit our website, but please see my
previous message.

Please note that the copies of volume 3 sold at Sight Village were in effect
pre-release CD's purchased by BCAB in advance of their going to high street
shops. We can expect the press release to announce the official release date
as 28 August, but the CD's are being circulated to radio stations as we speak.
They must not be given airplay until at least 13 August, in order that the
promotion campaign for the album is co-ordinated to be as effective as
possible. It is important that no radio presenter should hear a track on
someone else's programme before they have had a fighting chance to get their
promotional copy. If they are left wondering why someone else pipped them to
the album when they've consistently supported the first two volumes we could
lose valuable airplays. So, if anyone has bought volume 3, please can you hold
of sending requests in to your local radio stations for Top Cat tracks until 13
August. Airplay of tracks from the first two albums in the meantime could be
very useful in bringing the series back into public consciousness ahead of Top
Cats coming to air.

Regards,
Clive

Thanks Leonie, we have a tesco but not the others so I will check out the local
tesco shops and there are plenty to choose from, have already checked out WH
Smiths and the only music shop but neither had any idea what I was on about, I
think the CD's are great and should be selling like hot cakes. Sue
