Barry and Wendy,
As mentioned in a previous reply, I'm having the same
problem but I am with Virgin Media.

It's quite a coincidence that we are both with Tiscali. I
actually have a
web account that does not have a tiscali address, and that's
working fine.
So, I think it might be Tiscali that's changed something.
I'll give them a
call later and, if I found out what's going on, I'll let you
know.
If, in the mean time, anyone else with a tiscali account can
tell me if they
are experiencing the same, then that would clinch it.
Cheers
Barry

Barry
I am getting exactly the same problem. I have tried
everything and explored
IE6 options and other tools, but no luck. It seems to have
started since
automatic updates were installed the other night, but on
checking my update
history I find that there is nothing there which might cause
this problem.
I now just press escape whenever I get this irritating
message. Nothing
else seems to be affected. Everything is working normally.
We are both
with Tiscali.

Subject: [bcab] Asking for password
Hi all
For some reason that is really winding me up, my Outlook
2003 and IE8 keeps
asking me for a password. I've unchecked and checked the
box that says
'save the password', I've checked all the settings in mail
in control panel
and I've even tried simply re-entering the password. I've
done a scan for
viruses and spyware with no result.
The only thing I can think of that has changed is an update
to Super
antispy.
Any idea's?
Thanks in anticipation.
Barry
