[bcab] Re: Articles for the blind

Hello

As far as I onderstand it, there is no "proper" sticker. Articles for the
Blind may be sent from a blind person or to a blind person and must be
clearly marked as Articles For the Blind. They should then be sent without
cost through the post. There are restrictions on what can, and cannot be
sent - tapes, Braille and CDs should be OK, a lot of printed matter is not.
Check with the Post Office.

If you send something Articles For The Blind, clearly marked as such, and
the post office tries to charge you through ignorance of the rules then
refuse to pay and give the supervisisor roasting hell - sorry, gently remind
whoever is in charge that they are in the wrong. It happens!

HTH
Tony

sent me their catalogue in print, and wrote Articles For The Blind on the
envelope by hand. My son went to the Sorting Office for me and had to pay
£1.40 postage that the postman requested because he said it wasn't valid.

this happening to other people. So perhaps you aren't recommended to do
this without a proper sticker.

Articles for the blind on this, or do you have to use one of the stickers
