Hi Andrew
Some time last year, before I moved from Scotland, I recall that Tapesense sent
me their catalogue in print, and wrote Articles For The Blind on the envelope
by hand. My son went to the Sorting Office for me and had to pay £1.40
postage that the postman requested because he said it wasn't valid.
I took this up with Tapesense, and advised them to use AFB labels to avoid this
happening to other people. So perhaps you aren't recommended to do this
without a proper sticker.

Subject: [bcab] Articles for the blind
Hi,
Does anyone know with AFB if you can just print out an envelope and write
Articles for the blind on this, or do you have to use one of the stickers that
RNIB sell in packs?
I have been doing the former for a while, and usually get stuff through, but
lately have had stuff returned as not qualifying (mainly CDS which are
specificly for VI people and contain VI specific content).
Thanks.
Andrew.
