[bcab] Re: Ajax

Hey Tink,

Just to throw this in, the only screen reader to support AJAX in any
sensible way up to now, is System Access. If you have it, head on over to
http://www.bbcnews.com <http://www.bbcnews.com/> , hit control when it
starts reading to shut it up, sit back, and listen to it read the news
updates as the page gets refreshed. Very impressive.

All the best

Steve

Brian,

AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. As Isaac explained,
it's a way of loading or refreshing the content on a part of a page, without
necessarily needing to send a request to the server to do it.

    More on it here:

Regards,

Léonie.

Ottawa Canada

What is the Ajax web technology?

There is a town of Ajax, Ontario, just east of Toronto, there have been
ships of the Royal Navy named Ajax, and there is a sink cleaner as well as a
laundry detergent named Ajax.

The laundry detergent is said to be Stronger Than Dirt!

But I don't know what Ajax web technology is!
