Hi Tom.  I have had mine for 3 months.  I have also taken it out with me at 
least once a week and often 4 or 5 times.  So far mine has behaved well.

I did recently go to visit a friend however and helped set up a couple of 
Samsung NC10 netbooks.

I think that over all they are a step forward but I will explain in a separate 
email.

It may be of course that there were faults in later batches.  I got mine in 
early august.

  Partly a curio as I have booked the advent for a repair. Wireless connection 
drops off almost immediately on connection. Have a realtech card with what is 
supposedly the latest drivers from thetechguys site.

  There is supposedly a general prob with this card. does anyone else have this 
or are folk using different wireless cards?

  My first machine's battery failed within a month and it took PC world more 
than a month to get another one so I got a replacement machine. I have had this 
machine for just over a month and problems.

  I really like the concept of the net book, but, beginning to think that 
either I am hell of unlucky or the machine is not what it was cracked up to be. 

  I would be wary about getting one. As the Irish man said when asked the way 
to cork, "If I was you, I wouldn't start from here".
