Are you using IE7?
If so, are you opening the pdf in a web browser or actually in your
installed copy? Using the web browser method may interfere with some
screen
readers.
You can set the accessibility of the pdf reader to always open in your own
installed version which may help.
I still use version reader 7 because version 8 will not work. It says I
have
an invalid plug in which may be the screen reader I use.
