[bcab] Re: Address Bar not Showing in IE6

Is there IE 8 then Erica? Is IE 8 only for Vista users? I thought IE 7 to be a bit of a pain and was told that by others. You say you like IE 7 and 8. Why?

Hi Mel,
I've never heard of that happening.
If I were you, I'd upgrade to IE 7 or 8 as I find it a lot nicer anyway,
don't know about anyone else here. That might be the simple way to answer
your query, without fiddling too much.
If you felt comfortable you could look in the registry, maybe there is
something in there?

Erica.

Subject: [bcab] Address Bar not Showing in IE6

Hi All,

Windows XP Pro, JAWS 10 and IE6 on a laptop. Address bar not appearing at
the top of the screen. When I press JAWS key and A, I get message "Not
found". If I control tab to the address bar I get an empty address field.
If I use the JAWS cursor or invisible cursor to look at it, it's not there.

Have looked in view, toolbars, and address bar is ticked. Tried unticking
it and then re-selecting it but this hasn't helped.

Does anyone have any other suggestions please?

Thanks - Mel
