these applications would be aimed more at the business market. Most people would find that skype gives you all you need though if you make international calls a lot then products like Vonage could be worth trying as they do a free international and local UK deal for about £7.99 I think. quality is also very good in my experience.
Some internet providers such as plusnetoffer a voip system using your broadband connection and maybe the NCH software would work with that.

We were discussing this recently and the latest edition of FS Cast
demonstrates Express Talk from www.nchsoft.com.au which is pretty accessible 
with Jaws, and there's also a Pocket PC version that works pretty well on
the PACMate!
