Keith, if you go to the following link, you can purchase NOD32 or get a
30-day trial version.

Hi Steve,
I like the idea, but I hope you never need tech support on it. I did
once,
so I gave up, because they don't offer tech support for the free version.
Besides, your machine will speed up if you use Nod. AVG drags it down.
Of
course, if you haven't been without AVG for a while, you wouldn't realise
how much it drags it down. I have now benchmarked the two, and Nod
leaves
AVG way behind, so I am happy to pay for it.

Hi Steve,
Well AVG isn't costing me anything and NOD32 costs 23 quid per year per
computer, so I'm not inclined to change at this point.

Hi all,
Sorry to return to this, especially as I'm probably showing some
ignorance!
I went to the website mentioned in an earlier message for getting the
updated AVG 7.5. I note from eamails received recently that some members
of
this list have already successfully updated to this program.
However, when I followed the instructions and was about to download the
program I had a message saying something like the program did not have a
proper certificate and asked if I wished to continue.
I chose not to.
Can anyone shed any light on this matter and confirm that it would be ok
to
proceed if it occurs again.
Thanks.
Richard
