Hi Derek, I find that sometimes I can't see flash drives when they are
connected to my hub which is at the end of a metre USB cable. If I plug in
the power supply for the hub, everything works fine. I find that
particularly larger flash drives or U3 versions need the extra power.

Subject: [bcab] 8Gb USB Flash Drive
Hi Folks
I have just brought a 8Gb USB Flash Drive, my PC knows that the drive has
been inserted into a USB 2.0 slot on my USB external hub and also on the
front of my PC that is running Windows Xp Pro. (SP3) and JAWS 9.0but I
cannot find the drive in my computer screen or system tray therefor does
anyone know how I can resolve my problem.
Thanks
Derek
