Dorothy,

        There are two things that may help you sort out your email
difficulties. I'm not sure if you or your sighted friend have tried either,
but here goes:

        1. When you set up the rule to transfer email to the BCAB list into
a specific folder, did you set it up so that emails *to* bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
were transferred, not *from*? It would be logical to think that all emails
from a mailing list come from a specific address, but it is not the case
here.

        Effectively, your email rule needs to say that all email *from* the
address bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxx should be transferred into the new folder. I hope
this makes sense.

        2. Where you are missing emails from certain days, is it because
you've already downloaded that email on your other computer? For instance,
if you check your email on your laptop, you won't be able to see the same
set of emails from your main computer. Again, I hope this makes sense, but
unless you have a specific kind of email account, then it isn't possible to
see emails on two computers unless you have them both set to leave a copy on
the server.

Brian I am replying on this regardless of being rapped on knuckles. Yes it
is all very odd, now the folders I wanted an individual folder made for this
list come into  directly as does the jaws list  since it is very confusing
having  them in my In box.  sighted friend had  a couple of  stabs at it and
still the  Mail comes into my In Box. However today  it did control and U,
since if there is an unread message it  takes you to it and in a folder  the
nam yesterday.  re my missing emails Phil Medway on Jaws  list has a few
ideas about it maybe  accounts he said. I am really confuse d now as to
where this mail will show up when I send it.e  can you see my email address
Ok? if so you can reply on it.  you ask does your  look different  it does
not have an attachment of any kind, are you using Jaws and Outlook Express
Version 6 of the latter dorothy. d Bcab is yours of
