Re yours of 24th August. Well, what is happening is worrying
a whole days emails did not arrive on the laptop at all, last
night I had several phone calls from overseas. I was emailing are
you receiving me, they it seems were all replying but they did
not arrive. On the Jaws list Phil Medway is trying to sort out a
problem, he sent tome an Email just after Midnight last night.
It did arrive on desktop but not on laptop. This is
what I am doing now counting them in on each list. The friend
who called
in to make an individual box failed on both laptop and desktop.
He called in briefly today on his way off on holiday and said he
knew what he did wrongly. He supposedly put it right but it is
just the same they are
arriving all this list in my In box. It is a puzzle. Phil
Medway asked
me how many accounts I have, looked and I have 1 account only..
I have tried phoning ISP's today no human manning any phone line.
It is a bank holiday weekend. The Email on this list with the
instructions for example
only came in on one computer not the other. If an experienced
friend has
had three shots at it, how can I do it. Someone suggested copying
and pasting into a word Document. However I would then have to
move between 2 Windows back and forth. I think my Cassette
recorder may If I fail I fail it is just I do not want to make
matters worse by making a mistake as no one to ask to look.
Dorothy.be better for now propped up in front of the desktop.
