Wade and I were just there at 3 pm today and tried using the rolls of lobster
pot wire as a surface to keep from sinking in the mud and loosing magazines in
puddles. We concluded that we might be creating new hazards and decided to not
use the wire for typical IDPA match conditions. The wire is great for static
conditions in the mud as has been demonstrated in the past. Typically the
spring mud conditions only last until the ground thaws and the water can drain
into the soil. Even the Glock guys will be unhappy with the mud we have now.
