Subject: [nrcforum (Moderated)] Upcoming Meeting: RI Coalition Against Gun
Violence
FYI: I received a notice from my neighborhood bulletin board site about
an upcoming meeting of the RI Coalition Against Gun Violence. The meeting
is scheduled to be held on on Tuesday Feb 28 from 5:45-7:45PM at the
William Hall Library which is on 1825 Broad Street in the Edgewood
section of Cranston (note that this is NOT the main library which is
located on Sockanosset Cross Road). This meeting is open to the public
and its purpose is to have a “discussion about gun control
legislation”. I know Cranston seems like it is on another planet for
many of you but it may be worth making the trek up to see what plans are
brewing among those who despise our beloved sport and past-time…and who
are motivated enough to organize and lobby the RI assembly to pass
meaningless legislation (like banning magazines that exceed 10 rounds).
