Hi Steven

You can use the ID mate talking barcode scanner for identifying colours on clothes etc. The idea is that a barcode is ironed on to the item in question
and the description is voice recorded for the first time.

You can identify colours in your own way such as clothes with logos,
uniforms etc. Also you can add washing instructions etc.

The ID mate does much more with food, music, medicines, appliances etc.

Grants may be available depending on circumstances.

Cheers

please?

Hi folks.

I would like to know what sorts of products and or equipment there is
available for identifying colours for people who are blind or vision
impaired.

I am particularly interested in anything for a Mac, Braillenote or an
iphone or an n86 and or anything else that's out there please.

If anyone has any information all suggestions and help will be
gratefully appreciated and thank you all in advance.

Steven.
